Sacred Return , Bali 2027
Yoga, breath, ceremony and rest in the heart of Ubud.
Some retreats are an escape. This one is a return.
Sacred Return is five days in Bali to slow down, move, breathe, rest and let something shift.
It’s about returning to yourself beneath the roles, expectations and noise of everyday life.
Traditional Balinese ceremonies are woven through the retreat and led by local priests and healers, alongside yoga, breathwork, good food, laughter, quiet and honest connection.
There’s no pressure to perform or arrive with anything figured out.
You just get to come as you are and notice what becomes clearer when you finally have the space.

what to expect

Thoughtfully paced
Each day has structure, but it isn’t packed for the sake of it.
There is time for practice, ceremony, shared meals, rest, laughter and space to be on your own.
Shaped by Bali
Bali is more than the setting for this retreat. Its rhythm, rituals and relationship to daily practice shape the experience from the inside out.
The retreat is designed to meet the place with respect, allowing Bali to be part of what you experience rather than simply the backdrop.
Led with depth
I bring together yoga, breathwork, mantra, movement, philosophy, music and ritual in a way that feels grounded, human and real.
I’m not here to lead from above. I’m here to meet you in the work.
Come as you are
You do not need to be experienced, flexible or have anything figured out.
There is no pressure to perform. You are invited to participate, rest, ask questions and meet the experience in your own way.

THE RHYTHM OF THE RETREAT
Enough structure to hold you. Enough space to breathe.
Each day has a shape, but nothing is packed in for the sake of it.
Food at Solana
Food is a big part of the retreat—not an afterthought squeezed in between practices.
Each meal is prepared by Leo and the Solana team using fresh, locally sourced produce, vibrant ingredients and generous flavours. The menu is entirely vegetarian and designed to feel nourishing, satisfying and abundant.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are shared around the table, creating some of the most relaxed and memorable moments of the retreat. There is time to eat slowly, talk properly and enjoy food that has been made with real care.
I care deeply about beautiful food and the way it makes people feel. Being well fed changes the whole experience. It supports the body, gives the days more ease and brings people together in a way very little else can.
At Solana, every meal is thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented and unmistakably Balinese—fresh, colourful and full of flavour.

Meet Ali.
I lead retreats with warmth, honesty and clear structure, while giving people space to move at their own pace. My background spans traditional Tantric practices, Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, breathwork, Vedic meditation, women’s circle facilitation and Bhakti, with a particular passion for building strong, mobile bodies and a clear, steady mind.
I do this work because I’ve seen what can shift when people are given the right conditions: time, space, honest practice and the support to see themselves more clearly. The aim is not to become someone new, but to leave with something real that changes how you move through your life.
