RETREAT TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms & Conditions are designed to support a clear, respectful, and aligned experience for all guests attending retreats hosted by Alison Mayfield.

By submitting an application, making payment, or attending a retreat, guests acknowledge that they are voluntarily participating in yoga, movement, breathwork, meditation, wellness practices, excursions, and other retreat activities. All guests accept full responsibility for their own physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing throughout the retreat experience.

By proceeding with a booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. BOOKING & ACCEPTANCE

Submitting an application for Alison Mayfield does not guarantee placement at the retreat. All bookings are subject to review and approval.

Once accepted, guests will receive confirmation details, payment information, and next steps to secure their place. Your booking is only confirmed once the required deposit has been received.

Alison Mayfield reserves the right to decline applications where the retreat experience may not be the right fit for either party.
2. PAYMENTS, DEPOSITS & CANCELLATIONS

A non-refundable deposit of $700 AUD is required to secure your place at the retreat.

Payment plans may be available upon request and must be adhered to according to agreed payment dates. Final payment dates will be outlined upon booking confirmation.

Due to the time-sensitive nature of retreat planning, logistics, accommodation, and third-party bookings, no last-minute changes, cancellations, transfers, or amendments can be guaranteed or accommodated within 60 days of the retreat start date.

All retreat payments are non-refundable within 60 days of the retreat start date unless otherwise agreed in writing.

If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your place to another suitable participant pending approval by Alison Mayfield.

In the unlikely event that Alison Mayfield must cancel or postpone the retreat due to unforeseen circumstances, guests will be offered either a transfer of payments to a future retreat or a refund excluding any non-recoverable expenses already incurred.

3. TRAVEL INSURANCE

All guests are required to obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering medical expenses, cancellation, personal belongings, travel delays, and any other potential retreat or travel-related risks.

Alison Mayfield is not responsible for any loss, injury, illness, travel disruption, or additional expenses incurred before, during, or after the retreat.

4. HEALTH & PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY

By attending a retreat hosted by Alison Mayfield, guests acknowledge that they are voluntarily participating in yoga, movement, breathwork, meditation, ice baths, wellness practices, excursions, and other retreat activities.

Guests are responsible for ensuring they are physically and mentally fit to participate and agree to disclose any relevant injuries, medical conditions, or health concerns prior to the retreat.

All participation is undertaken at the guest’s own risk, and Alison Mayfield accepts no liability for injury, illness, loss, or damages arising from participation in retreat activities.

5. MEDIA & PHOTOGRAPHY

Photography and video content may be captured throughout the retreat for promotional and marketing purposes, including use on social media, websites, and future retreat materials.

If you do not wish to appear in imagery or content captured during the retreat, please notify Alison Mayfield in writing prior to the retreat commencement.

6.RETREAT CHANGES & FORCE MAJEURE

While every effort will be made to deliver the retreat as advertised, Alison Mayfield reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the retreat schedule, teachers, activities, accommodation, or inclusions where necessary.

Alison Mayfield shall not be held responsible for cancellations, delays, changes, or disruptions caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, weather events, government restrictions, pandemics, civil unrest, transportation disruptions, venue issues, or acts of God.
